There was a 8.3 earthquake an hour or so ago up in the north, followed by a tsunami alert for the whole country and many other countries (including my own). And I was supposed to be there tonight, I was supposed to be up north this whole week but the trip was postponed. In a not so distant dimension, I would be lost in that chaos, all alone running to the hills and worrying about the stray dogs and pets left behind.
This is horrible. And I'm just thinking God did me a solid.
